About Charlene

Charlene Rose is a dancer, model, actress and singer, and was born in Clearwater, Florida on May 27.  She is the second youngest of three sisters and one brother, and was raised by an American mother and father.   Charlene’s passion and natural ability for the arts began at a very young age, and despite having to relocate to such locations as California, Montana, and Idaho during her childhood years, she stayed consistent with her training.  After home-schooling herself through High School and finishing a year early with a 3.8 GPA, she went on to major in Dance & Musical Theater at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, WA.

Charlene relocated to Los Angeles, CA and has achieved significant successes in the Latin dance scene.  For the past 5 years she has been maintaining a hectic schedule as an international freelance dancer, teacher, choreographer, performer and role model for audiences and students around the world.  Some of Charlene’s accomplishments include 2011 Golden Salsa Award for “Best Female Salsa Dancer”, 5X World Salsa Champion, Semi-Finalist on FOX’s “So You Think You Can Dance”, and appeared on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent”.

In the wake of such successes, Charlene has recently decided to aim her focus back to her other passions in the arts, and is building a name for herself in the modeling, film, television, and music scenes.  Just this year she was the Main Model for the Sexy Hair campaign for Spring of 2012, played a Starring Role in the short film “Just Dance”, and is the Lead Singer of the funk, rock, and blues fusion band, He Said She Said.

Charlene’s goal with her art is to inspire and empower people of all walks of life to follow their passions, and make their dreams into reality, and she looks forward to many great triumphs to come.
